Cutting-edge technology and competence to excel research

The Genomics Core Facility has for over 20 years provided state-of-the-art laboratory technology and high-throughput genomic services to the Norwegian scientific community. Today, our core facility offers an extensive repertoire of technologies and competence to study genome structure, dynamics, and function using Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology and commercial microarrays. In addition to laboratory services, the core facility delivers bioinformatics analysis, providing a comprehensive solution for high-throughput genomic analysis. Our services are equally accessible to all users from our health region, following a first come first served policy.

The Genomics Core Facility is a member of the Norwegian Consortium for Sequencing and Personalized Medicine (NorSeq) which runs the National technology platform financed by the Research Council of Norway. In addition, we run the regional technology platforms for high-throughput sequencing in collaboration with the Sequencing Center at Ullevål Hospital.

The Genomics Core Facility is an Illumina Certified Service Provider (CSPro) for high-throughput sequencing and beadarray technology applications. The CSPro program is a collaborative service partnership dedicated to ensure industry-leading data quality and service standards for genetic analysis applications.

Please contact us for a meeting to explore the options we can provide for your project.
